Self Storage Insurance

The Hive Self Storage Ltd are members of the Self Storage Association (SSA). There is a European Standard that specifies minimum conditions for security and customer protection. All SSA members must meet this standard to maintain their membership. As SSA members we also require all stored contents to be insured. This can be your own insurance, or we can add you to ours at a cost of £1/week per £1000 value (including VAT).

Storage Unit Advice

We understand it is very difficult to imagine all your homely goods packed away in a storage unit. Your removals team will be able to advise which size storage unit you will need. Or, if you are doing the removals yourself just contact one of our friendly members of staff, who will be happy to guide you in choosing the right size unit to suit your needs. You can drive right up to your container to unload your goods and we provide ramps should you need them. You can also hire shelving for your secure container.
